EN18324 Phase 2 - Support Services

The contracting authority intends to commission further specialist support to assist with the resolution of comments relating to EN 18324, the draft European standard for charge point accessibility. The proposed supplier has relevant and demonstrable technical expertise, having led the authorship of PAS 1899, acted as lead technical author for the PAS review completed in 2025, and provided continuity of support throughout the EN enquiry process. Retaining access to this specialist knowledge will support the timely and technically robust consideration of comments, preserve continuity with the earlier work, and strengthen the United Kingdom’s ability to ensure that the developing European standard appropriately reflects national accessibility requirements and policy objectives. Any appointment should remain subject to the applicable commercial approvals, value-for-money assessment, conflict-of-interest controls and procurement requirements.
