Consultancy and training AI offer

Jisc is looking to build on its already successful AI in-house resource, and expand its consultancy and training provision in the AI space.

To achieve this we need to ensure we have a bank of suitably knowledgeable and experienced external consultants who can work in conjunction with Jisc colleagues as Associates, to deliver high quality, evidence based and bespoke AI focussed work to our members and customers.

Jisc are building a picture of that extended AI consultancy and training provision and are seeking input from potential Associates, as well as Jisc members and customers, to help us.

We would very much appreciate it, if, as part of this early pre-market engagement, as an interested Consultant, you would answer the following questions:

Questions

1. What experience do you have of developing AI policies, reports, guidance or strategic materials in an education setting? This could include work delivered inside a college, university or other education organisation, as well as external consultancy or advisory work.

2. What experience do you have of implementing AI, supporting AI adoption, or developing AI resources in an education setting? Please include examples such as learning technology, digital education, academic development, assessment, staff development, professional services, governance or student support.

3. What experience do you have of delivering AI training, workshops or staff development using a pre-existing framework? Please include how you adapted delivery for different audiences while maintaining the intended approach and quality.

4. Which areas of Jisc’s work do you see your knowledge, skills and experience in AI being most applicable? e.g. technical, security, pedagogical, professional – please expand.

5. Would you be interested in working with Jisc on a framework for AI related consultancy and training projects? If so, please briefly explain what type of work you would be most interested in, your likely availability, and any practical constraints we should be aware of.
