Supported Accommodation and Pathways to Independence Service Framework

The Isle of Wight Council is commissioning framework for Supported Accommodation and Pathways to Independence Services for children we care for aged 16 – 18 years, for whom the authority has a statutory responsibility for, in line with the Ofsted requirements and regulations for the sector. In addition, the Authority are commissioning move on accommodation for our care experienced young people aged 18 -25 years.

The Authority are undertaking a market engagement exercise to inform the commissioning of Supported Accommodation and Pathways to Independence Service Framework from 1 April 2027.

The framework will be provided under 6 lots as listed below;

Lot 1 - Supported Accommodation and support for eligible and relevant children we care for and separated migrant children, aged 16-18yrs.

Lot 2 - Parent and child supported accommodation and support for children we care for, aged 16 to 18yrs.

Lot 3 – Emergency supported accommodation bed for 16-18yr olds who have become homeless.

Lot 4 – Move on accommodation and support for eligible and relevant care experienced young people and separated migrant young people, aged 18-25yrs.

Lot 5 – Parent and child accommodation and support for care experienced young people, aged 18-25yrs.

Lot 6 – Emergency move on accommodation bed for 18-25yr olds who have become homeless.
