BWC Genetics LIMS Pre-Market Engagement

C&S GMS is progressing the development of a Distributed Analysis (DA) operating model, enabling genomic testing activity to be undertaken across the multiple laboratory sites while operating as a single regional service. To support this model, BWC is seeking market engagement with suppliers capable of providing a modern Genomic Laboratory Information System (LIMS) to improve functionality within the wider GMS network.

The future solution must support the end-to-end genomic testing pathway, enabling laboratories across the network to access, manage, analyse and report genomic information irrespective of where testing activity is undertaken. The objective is to improve resilience, efficiency standardisation and service scalability whilst maintaining compliance with NHS, UK regulatory and information governance requirements.
