NEYPPC Pharmacy - ULM Aseptic Compounded Specials

The North East and Yorkshire NHS Pharmaceutical Purchasing Consortium intends to establish a Framework Agreement for the supply of Unlicensed Aseptic Compounded Specials.

The requirement will cover the provision of unlicensed aseptic compounded specials, including sterile ready-to-administer injectable and infusion products that are batch manufactured or otherwise aseptically prepared in accordance with applicable UK regulatory standards and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.

Suppliers will be required to hold all relevant licences, authorisations and regulatory approvals necessary to manufacture and supply unlicensed medicines within the UK, together with the appropriate quality assurance and batch release arrangements.

The Framework Agreement will provide participating NHS organisations with access to safe, compliant and competitively sourced unlicensed aseptic compounded products, supporting continuity of supply, product quality assurance, patient safety and value for money across the NHS.
