GMCA1960 Bee Well Youth Steering Group Delivery Partner

The delivery partner will support our #BeeWell Youth Steering Group and associated youth engagement activities.

Working with the #BeeWell partnership and GMCA to:

Manage the #BeeWell youth steering group

Facilitate monthly, virtual, youth steering group sessions to engage the voices of young people in programme delivery and decision making.

Support representatives of the youth steering group to join the #BeeWell delivery board and empower them to offer challenge and scrutiny to the programme delivery.

Facilitate Termly (4 times per year) in person workshops including the spring headline workshop and annual thank you activity.

Manage and lead communications with group members via group WhatsApp and individual communications.

Maintain membership of the youth steering group to at least 15 young people, leading annual recruitment drives to bring on board new members.

Hold overall responsibility for the safeguarding of youth steering group members, ensuring all policies and procedures are in place, including consent and onboarding of new members.

Coordinate reimbursement and incentives to ensure young people are appropriately compensated for activities in line with policy.

Support wider CYP engagement activities:

Facilitate and support engagement of CYP voice groups and infrastructure (including the Youth Combined Authority) across the city-region in the work of #BeeWell and collating broader feedback on priorities selected by young people, annually. Guide and advise creation of #BeeWell resources for youth engagement (e.g. for schools to engage pupils in their data, for #BeeWell workshops)

Support #BeeWell team with engagement of young people across GM Youth Voice infrastructure to understand #BeeWell insights, develop youth led narratives and codesign responses.

Work with young people and the #BeeWell partnership to codesign reporting of impact and influence to young people who complete the #BeeWell survey.

Supporting YP involvement in #BeeWell communications, including headline reporting, quotes for press releases, videos and blogs.
