Description

This procurement relates to the provision of vehicle maintenance services to the Joint Transport Service (JTS) for Surrey and Sussex Police.

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex, acting on behalf of both the Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex and the Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey (together, the Authorities), will be seeking bids from suitably qualified organisations.

The services will be delivered on a non-exclusive basis under a multi-supplier Framework Agreement with a term of four (4) years.

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex (the PCC for Sussex) is the lead authority for this procurement and will be responsible for the selection and appointment of suppliers to the Framework Agreement.

Due to the nature of the Authorities' operations, suppliers will be required to meet specific security and storage requirements at their premises. In addition, to minimise environmental impact and vehicle downtime, suppliers' premises must be located within a 20-mile radius of the Authorities' workshops in Surrey, East Sussex and West Sussex.

Any volumes, quantities or values of business stated within the procurement documentation are indicative only and do not constitute any guarantee or commitment of future work.
