Group Medical Insurance for Country-Based Staff (and qualified dependents) of British High Commission in Colombo (Sri Lanka)
Description
Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) intend to identify a competent insurance agency to provide a Group Medical Insurance Policy cover for Country-Based Staff (and their qualified dependents) of British High Commission in Colombo (Sri Lanka).
The contract will be for a period of Three (3) years starting from 1st April 2027 till 31st March 2028, with a provision to further extension for Two (2) more years on (1+1 basis) subject to satisfactory performance by the selected supplier and continuous business requirement at BHC Colombo.
We would like to engage in a discussion with potential Insurance Agencies/Companies, who operate in Sri Lanka market and will be interested to bid for this assignment and deliver the required services.
An Early Market Engagement is being planned on 21st August 2026 from 11:00 to 12:00 hrs Colombo time.
Suitable and interested suppliers are invited to participate in the virtual market engagement session. The prime objective of organising this event is to share our tentative requirements and gain understanding of what can be provided or achieved by the players in the Local Market.
A presentation will be shared with suppliers (participants at the event), which will include FCDO's procurement procedures, possible bid evaluation criteria and overall project timelines.
