Supplier of Collection, Kennelling and Re-homing of Stray Dogs

The provision of:

• service for the Council for the collection of stray dogs under Environmental Protection Act 1990 section 149(1) and The Control of Dogs order 1992.

• the return of micro chipped or identified strays to their owners at the earliest opportunity

• efforts made to reunite dogs with their owners and advice on responsible dog ownership

• the boarding/kennelling of all stray dogs collected

• an out of hours collection and kennelling service

• re-homing of unclaimed dogs

• monthly reports for contract monitoring detailing a comprehensive breakdown of the service provided, compliance with key performance indicators in 8.1 below; the charges involved in undertaking that service and information on any subsequent action undertaken

• bi-annual meeting to monitor and review the service against the key performance indicators in 8.1 below and address any operational issues

• review at the end of the Term and assistance with new contract arrangements to ensure continuity of service
