Description

The City of Westminster (the “Authority”) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced specialist geotechnical consultant to undertake ground investigation works at Lilestone Street, forming part of the Lisson Grove Programme.

The appointed consultant will be required to carry out geotechnical and geo-environmental investigations to establish detailed information on ground conditions, groundwater levels, and associated constraints. The outputs of these investigations will inform the preparation of a Basement Impact Assessment (BIA) in support of a forthcoming planning application, and will provide a robust evidence base for structural design development, construction risk management, and cost certainty across the scheme.

This procurement will be conducted as a below-threshold open procedure. The opportunity will be advertised via the Authority’s e-tendering portal (Jaggaer), and bids will be invited from suitably qualified suppliers with demonstrable experience in delivering comparable geotechnical investigation services.

The Authority will conduct this procurement in accordance with the principles of the Procurement Act 2023, ensuring that the process is transparent, proportionate, and facilitates fair and open competition.
