Hosting Capability Supplier Procurement

The Home Office Enterprise Networks & Infrastructure function is preparing an award with competition to procure a Hosting Capability Supplier. The successful supplier will provide a comprehensive 24x7x365 operational support capability, alongside outcome-based engineering, transformation, and service delivery services across the Home Office technology estate. The objective is to establish a simplified and integrated operating model that delivers improved service resilience, enhanced automation, accelerated technology transformation, and a single point of accountability for hosting-related services.

The scope of the requirement is expected to include:

• Platform services spanning on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments.

• Hosting, cloud, network and infrastructure operational support and engineering services.

• Legacy infrastructure and application support, including the transformation and modernisation of services to align with future-state technology strategies.

• Technology services covering datacentre, platform, storage, backup, virtualisation, operating systems, network infrastructure, cloud services and associated management tooling.

The Hosting Capability Supplier will absorb service elements currently delivered through the Home Office's Network Capability Services (NCS) and Private IaaS contracts that are not provided by internal Networks & Infrastructure engineering teams. This includes integrating operational support capabilities into a single commercial construct, simplifying supplier engagement, reducing contractual complexity, and removing longstanding interdependencies across the hosting, platform, cloud, network, and infrastructure landscape.

The successful supplier will be expected to work collaboratively with internal engineering teams, strategic technology partners, and other service providers to support an integrated service management model and deliver continuous service improvement. The supplier will also support the transition from legacy technologies and applications, driving resilience, automation, transformation, and operational excellence whilst maintaining businesscritical services throughout the contract lifecycle.
