The analytical assurers will assure that analytical methods are appropriate for the decisions required, the level of compliance with agreed methods, the management and mitigation of analytical risk and errors through quality control / validation processes, the consideration of analytical uncertainty within the communication of the evidence / recommendations to decision makers and the overall robustness of the evidence underpinning key decisions.
