Scientific Research into Hearing Loss in UK Policing

The Authority as the contracting authority is tendering for the provision of research to: determine real time and real world noise exposures from a variety of police activities; identify a valid estimate of average noise exposures as they conduct their daily roles; and provide recommendations for the optimum equipment for officer/staff to use to protect their hearing when undertaking their duties in relation to earpieces used with Airwave radios.
