This procurement is being conducted by the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) on behalf of the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) who are the Contracting Authority as defined in Section 2 of the Procurement Act 2023.
The authority intends to conduct a competition for the procurement of a new Low Power Variable Optic (LVPO) to be mounted on the personal issue SIG MCX primary weapon system of Armed Response Vehicle (ARV) Officers who are trained National Rifle Officers/Tactical Rifle Officers (NRO/TRO)
