Main Circulating Water Pumps (MCWP) Exit Management Enactment and Test Rig Disposal
Description
The previous Main Circulating Water Pumps (MCWP) In-Service Support Contract - MET/20541 - expired in March 2023 without the necessary exit activities having been completed. All funding allocated to the former contract was exhausted on extended repair and test activities, and as such, a new contract is required to fund the completion of these activities.
The contract will include a full stocktake and sentencing of all Government Furnished Assets that were either sent to the contractor, or were purchased by the contractor on the Authority's behalf during the life of MET/20451. This includes but is not limited to special jigs and tooling and codified and uncodified spare articles to aid in the repair of pumps.
There is an additional requirement to temporarily store and when necessary, dismantle and dispose of a large semi-permanent MOD-owned MCWP Test Rig which currently remains in-situ on the former contractor's site.
