Christian Action Housing Association - Fire Equipment and Systems Maintenance, Testing and Repairs
Description
The scope of the Contract is the maintenance, testing and repairs to fire equipment and safety systems at all CAHA sites including:
•Head office
•Young person’s schemes
•Blocks up to 18 meters
•Street converted properties
The equipment and systems includes:
•Fire alarm servicing
•Emergency lighting servicing
•Automatic opening vents servicing
•Firefighting equipment servicing
•Firefighting equipment upgrades/replacements
•Dry riser servicing
•Wet riser servicing
•Sprinkler systems servicing
•Misting systems servicing
•Lightning conductor inspections
•Ancillary equipment checks
The main objectives of this contract are to:
•Provide high quality services with which customers are satisfied
•achieve overall performance in line with CAHA’s key performance indicators.
•Demonstrate value for money in a proactive and consistent manner.
•Achieve 100 % compliance on all fire equipment and systems
Full details of the schemes and the Services required are contained in the Specification as set out in Appendix 1 of the ITT document.
The Contract is expected to commence in June 2026.
The Contract will last for an initial period of 3 years, with an option to extend at CAHA’s discretion for a further 1 year, and 1 additional year, giving a total potential maximum term of 5 years.
The stated estimated value is for the maximum 5 year contract term.
