Behaviour as Communication Intervention
Description
We are seeking a service that delivers a programme to support Looked After Children who are struggling to feel a sense of belonging or have their needs met in school. It is also to include targeted interventions to support the adults particularly those working with CWCF, enabling them to adopt a more trauma-informed, relational and restorative approach to their practice. This service is to start 1st April 2026 for a period of 3 years, with the option to extend for a further 2 years. The primary service users of this work is to help children who are particularly dysregulated or unsettled to get ‘back on track’ by ensuring the adults around them are better equipped, supported and connected in their response. This service must meet the needs of residents in the administrative areas of Oxfordshire, including Children We Care For who are residing both in-county and out of county.
