Pre-Market Engagement for the Provision of a Network of Air Quality monitors and Associated Data Management

Leicester City Council are commencing a formal Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise in advance of initiating a procurement process.The purpose of such engagement is to understand the level of market interest and to seek market intelligence on offerings in the market on both commercial off the shelf solutions as well as any innovative proposals from organisations that may have an interest or expertise in this field. The Council is aiming to procure a solution which will deliver and future proof the current functionality and additionally provide flexibility to exploit the use of new technology where this provides benefit to the business, in relation to a network of Air Quality monitors and associated data management. The Council is seeking proposals from suppliers and that would assist us in determining whether the procurement exercise is below or above threshold. This will also enable us to understand the estimated value of the procurement.
