Group Medical Insurance for Country Based Staff (& their Dependants) of the British High Commission in Islamabad and British Deputy High Commission in Karachi, Pakistan
Description
The British High Commission in Islamabad and British Deputy High Commission in Karachi (Pakistan) intends to implement a Group Medical Insurance scheme covering its country based staff members, their spouses and all children. The insurance policy shall provide cover for 1429 lives in BHC Islamabad and 319 lives in BDHC Karachi.
The Contract will be initially for the duration of One (01) year, with an option to extend additional Two (02) extensions of 12 months each, based on satisfactory performance provided by the seleced Insurance Agency and conitued business requirement at the BHC Islamabad and BDHC Karachi. The contract/Insurance policy is expected to start on 1st December 2025 and shall expire on 30 November 2026 (the initial phase).
An Early Market engagement is being planned on 17th June 2025. Suitable and interested suppliers are invited to participate in the virtual market engagement session. The prime objective of organising this session is to share our tentative requirements and gain understanding of what can be provided or achieved by the players in the Local Market. A presentation will be shared with suppliers which will include FCDO’s procurement procedures, possible bid evaluation criteria and overall project timelines.
