Provision of inspections, repair and maintenance of playgrounds, outdoor gyms, skateparks etc on behalf of the London Borough of Hillingdon

The London Borough of Hillingdon require a supplier to undertake inspections across its assets of playgrounds, outdoor gyms, skate parks etc on a quarterly and annual basis.

There are circa 100 playgrounds located in a range of locations throughout the borough, predominantly within parks and housing estates.

The contract is split into two components:

• Quarterly/Annual inspections.

• Day to day repairs identified by Hillingdon's Green Spaces Inspectors/Officers and reports by Users

The supplier is required to carry out the inspections and maintenance in accordance with the best trade practice, ROSPA guidelines and adhere to the British Standards BS EN 1176/BS EN 1177. The contractor will also need to ensure that all equipment and associated surfaces comply with the prevailing standards relating to the Service with particular attention should be paid to 'sealed for life' part

The Contract will be for an initial term of three (3) years with an extendable option for a period of two (2) years, giving a total of five (5) years] (the Term).
