Croydon RC Steel Frame & External Remedials

Following a series of investigations post purchase of the

property a series of widespread failure has been identified

exposing the steel frame. This includes areas of delamination

and blistering of the intumescent coating, complete loss of

coating in some areas exposing the steel substrate, cracking

and pitting of the coating (especially on horizontal beams),

aesthetic degradation visible from internal office areas and

loss of fire protection, compromising structural stability in the event of fire. Contract is to rectify these issues
