The Audiology Department at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (BTHFT) provides comprehensive hearing assessment, rehabilitation, and hearing aid services to a large and diverse population across Bradford and the surrounding areas. As part of these services, the provision of custom ear moulds is a fundamental requirement, supporting patients of all ages who use behind-the-ear hearing aids and specialist hearing devices.
Ear moulds are individually manufactured from patient ear impressions. Demand is driven by both new patient fittings and the ongoing replacement and modification of existing ear moulds.
