Improvements to Paths at Waterside Valley
Description
Waterside Valley is a linear 12.7 hectare (31.4 acre) stretch of informal greenspace to the east of Westfield. The site comprises three fields of disused grazing land. Its southeast boundary is defined by the watercourse variously known as Waterside or Snail's Brook, with the West Hill Gardens / Waterford Park housing estate forming its north west boundary.
The site had for many years been used as informal public open space and was acquired by
the Parish Council in two lots in 2021 and 2023.
A masterplan and management plan has been produced for the site and the path improvements works covered by this tender, are the first significant phase of infrastructure improvements for the site.
The works comprise improving footpaths with a new granular surface and installation of some sections of boardwalk across wetter areas.

2. Completed pricing schedule and form of tender, including proposed contract period and start date on form of tender.
3. Preliminary Brief but project specific Method Statements as required by section A30 500 of the ITT
4. Please also provide a brief summary of up to three similar successful projects undertaken by your organisation.
